Wet Hop Lager. Refreshing straw coloured Lager. Hop notes of marmaladie & grapefruit. Brewed with fresh wet hops, hand picked at our annual hop picking picnic in Forrest. Heritage hops grown locally on our family farm.
A sprightly Refreshing Lager with notes of fresh lemonade, citrus and green grass.
A long time ago well about a century, the Town of Forrest was more than a post logging, cycling, beer producing, tourist town. It was a big hop growing area. This all sadly finished in approx. 1950, but they’re a tough little plant (rhizome) and we found some from the old days still thriving in a local creek. We gathered some root material and planted 150 of these heritage hops back into the fields of old.
